It is a real privilege to be the Headteacher of Manuden Primary School.

Manuden is a small village school with a strong sense of community and big ambitions for every child. Our vision, “Growing Hearts, Growing Minds, Growing Dreams”, captures what we want for our pupils: children who are kind and confident, curious about the world around them and well prepared for the next stage of their lives.

One of the great strengths of being a small school is that we are able to know our children and families extremely well. We want every child to feel safe, valued and included, while also being challenged to achieve their very best.

We have high expectations for learning, behaviour and personal development. Alongside a rich and engaging curriculum, we want our children to develop resilience, independence and a genuine love of learning. Just as importantly, we want Manuden to be a school where children are happy to come each morning and proud to belong.

Our staff, governors, families and wider community all play an important part in school life, and I believe strongly in working together openly and positively to give our children the very best possible experience.
